These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by The Painting Company. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Work
All work is carried out based on the agreed scope defined in the quotation or specification. Any changes, additions, or exclusions requested after approval may result in revised pricing or timelines.
2. Site Visits, Assessments & Specifications
Some projects require a detailed assessment before work can begin. Where necessary, this may include an independent third-party evaluation to determine surface condition, preparation requirements, material selection, and warranty expectations.
Assessments are not required for all projects and will only be recommended where conditions, exposure, or project scale make them necessary.
3. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Pricing may be adjusted if previously unidentified issues arise, including but not limited to moisture, structural defects, substrate failure, or access limitations.
Prices remain valid for a limited period as stated in the quotation.
4. Preparation & Materials
Correct preparation and material selection are essential for long-term performance, particularly in coastal and high-humidity environments. The Painting Company reserves the right to specify appropriate preparation methods and coating systems based on site conditions.
Use of alternative materials or methods requested by the client may affect performance and warranty eligibility.
5. Programme & Scheduling
Work schedules are agreed in advance but may be affected by weather conditions, site access, drying times, or unforeseen issues. The Painting Company will communicate any necessary adjustments promptly.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring safe access to the property, availability of utilities where required, and removal or protection of personal items unless otherwise agreed.
7. Warranty & Performance
Where applicable, warranties are based on correct preparation, material specification, and application under suitable conditions. Warranty terms may vary depending on project scope, exposure, and findings from any assessments carried out.
Failure to follow recommended preparation or specification may limit or exclude warranty coverage.
8. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in the quotation or invoice. Late payments may result in delays or suspension of work.
9. Health & Safety
The Painting Company operates in accordance with applicable health and safety standards. Clients must inform us of any known site hazards prior to commencement.
10. Liability
The Painting Company is not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, or issues beyond the agreed scope of work. Liability is limited to the value of the services provided.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
